Mountain Bike 40th Birthday February 6, 2011 Bottom Tier - Banana Chocolate Chunk Cake Tire Tier - Chocolate Fudge Cake Top Tier - Chai Spice Cake filled with Orange Caramel Buttercream. This cake was designed for my own 40th birthday based on my love of mountain biking.The middle layer is a replica of my bike tire (which was very time consuming to tread and logo, but well worth the effort), the colours came from the accents on my bike gloves and the daisies are the flowers that I most often see while out on the trail.
